With a handful of game modes, some truly wild mini-games, and an overabundance of juvenile jokes, Jackass: The Game provides a mixture of laugh-out-loud antics and painful falls.
Your adventure as the creative mind behind Jackass begins when Jeff Tremaine, the real director of the show, suffers a painful accident and ends up in the hospital. With their director out-of-commission on the first day of filming a new season, the cast chooses you to helm the show.
Since MTV needs another season of the popular show, it's up to you to craft seven episodes of wild stunts. Each episode contains five stunts, some original and some based on classic episodes from the show.
As you progress through the game, you'll meet and recruit the core cast of characters, slowly building up the most epic season of Jackass to ever air. While the storytelling is notably light and mostly played for laughs, the narrative is exactly what you'd expect from such a ridiculous game. In MTV Story Mode, you must complete seven episodes of the show by participating and filming five unique stunts. In order to successfully progress to the next episode, you must raise enough revenue by earning high rankings on individual stunts.
Each episode of the show has a loose theme, with a variety of stunts ranging from shopping cart jumps to riding a wakeboard through the suburbs. Once you complete a stunt in Story mode, it will unlock in Challenge mode, where you can retry with more objectives to complete.
Performing stunts in Challenge mode properly earns you cash, which can be spent in the Jackass Mart shop. Here, you'll be able to unlock a variety of cosmetic items, including over 20 props, new characters and outfits, as well as concept art and clips from the show. The game also includes some fun multiplayer offerings, including four-player competitive and head-to-head battles.
There are five unique stunts in head-to-head battles, including a modified version of rock, paper, scissors, and some shooting galleries. Four-player competitive multiplayer places you in a round-robin contest, where you must perform better than your opponents across a variety of mini-games.
Although Jackass: The Game has a ridiculous and underwhelming story, it offers a gameplay experience that perfectly mirrors the irreverent attitude of the original show. The game will now run on the emulator and you can play the game freely. Tip: Saving games on an emulator functions a little differently. The integrated save system will not save your progress. You can save your progress in whatever point you like within the game, not only on the official checkpoints offered by the game.
Home Emulators Platforms Games. The game was first shown at the E3 behind closed doors. All of the Jackass cast and crew provided their own voices and supply their likenesses for the game, according to Sidhe Interactive.
Johnny Knoxville and other members of the Jackass team also provided stunt ideas to the developer based on unused stunts from the show. A trailer was released in June on the game's official website, along with the cover art.
